The PERFECT Example of well-kept, properly installed and maintained Exhaust Fans on the Roof!
With proper installation and keeping to a strict maintenance schedule, you should never have any issues with grease spilling over onto the roof causing a fire hazardous situation. In the many years we have been in business, it is sad to say that we have seen our share of restaurants paying for professional service just to end up with improperly maintained equipment that is on the verge of going up in flames.

Per NFPA Code 96 Standard, it is required by law to prevent fires and health problems, to have your Exhaust fan, Duct, Hood and grease Filters' grease removed, properly cleaned and fire proofed on a set schedule that depends on the volume your kitchen produces and per NFPA Code 96 it is required that the hood have a "Hood Tag" showing the service date and next due date. Schedule may vary from a monthly to a semi-annual basis. We can properly evaluate each situation to accurately determine your schedule.

Improperly Maintained and not up to Code. Missing Something? YES!
This is the perfect example of a Fire Hazard. Not only have these Exhaust Fans gone way too long since their last cleaning but, they are not up to code. They are missing the Drip Pan and the Duct (from the one on the left) is not properly modified to fit this Exhaust Fan like the one on the right. Also, the one on the left does not pass code due to the way the wires are hanging out like that and not properly insulated.
